JDM Speed Chime Privacy Policy Last updated: 30th June 2023
We do not collect any location, personal or other information. 'JDM Speed Chime' (the app) retrieves your location and speed using your mobile's GPS. The app runs as a service in the backgrouns so that it can continue to access the phone GPS data and may play the chime sound even if another app is open or the app is closed.
The permissions required by the app are only used for the proper functioning of the application and for nothing else.
The permission for locate is mandatory to obtain the speed via the GPS and the positioning for speed changes.
When the app is in the background, in order for the app to always alert you when exceeding the speed limit, the location permission must be set to "Always allow". If you do not give this permission, Android will not send GPS information to the app.
The permission to access phone/call state is required so the chime stops if you receive a phone call.
